EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:
Mr. Warfield has over fifteen years of experience in
conducting investigations and implementing remedial systems for sites
containing petroleum and hazardous substance/waste impacts. Mr.
Warfield also has experience in UST and AST compliance, emergency response,
environmental assessments, and forestry/land management. Additional
responsibilities include conducting site investigations and preparing
risk assessments for petroleum storage tank sites under the Missouri
Risk Based Corrective Action (MRBCA) guidance.
KEY PROJECT SUMMARY:
For
the United States Air Force Headquarters Air Combat Command (USAF HQ
ACC), Mr. Warfield was field team leader for the closure of a RCRA
hazardous waste storage facility. Mr. Warfield oversaw the use
of Geoprobe direct-push techniques to obtain confirmatory soil samples. Mr.
Warfield also led a basewide survey and sampling of all power transformers
suspected of containing PCBs, as well as the development of a database
to enable the AFB to track the removal/replacement and disposition
of all PCB-containing transformers.
For the USAF
Space Command, Mr. Warfield managed and led a multi-team effort
to review and update the Hazardous Material (HazMat) Response plans
and SPCC plans for the facilities on the base at Malmstrom AFB
and F.E. Warren AFB. In addition, the remote missile fields
associated with each of these facilities, consisting of 220 sites
each, were also surveyed and inspected. Because of their
unique nature and locations individual HazMat Response plans and
SPCC plans were developed for each site.
For the Air
Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Mr. Warfield managed the review and
updating of Hazardous Material Response and Spill Prevention Control
and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans at twelve AFRC Bases. Mr.
Warfield participated in the thorough survey of each facility for
hazardous materials, identification of storage practices, documentation,
and delineation of spill control safety equipment.
For the USACE
Kansas City District and EPA Region 6, Mr. Warfield helped locate
and assess environmental damage from over 120 abandoned well sites
in Louisiana. He contacted landowners to obtain permission
for site access, conducted field assessments and sampling, and
provided liaison between the landowners and field teams.
